Overview of Wafer Ball Valves
Wafer ball valve is a common industrial valve, consists of a spherical spool and a valve body, which can control the flow of fluid by rotating the spool. When the spool is rotated by 90 degrees, the channel on the sphere is aligned with the channel on the valve body, and the fluid can pass through. After rotating by 90 degrees, the channel is staggered, and the fluid can’t pass through. The spool is rotated 90 degrees to control the flow of fluid.
1. Restriction of deformation space
When the valve body and bonnet work together, the excess material overflowed cannot be directly blocked in the path of bonnet movement, so we set up a concentric circle positioning structure in the front and back of the 1 piece wafer ball valves. This design enables the valve body and cover end face to be fully combined to achieve practical and reliable sealing effect.
On the other hand, if you really require a fireproof function, the flake material can be changed to a graphite gasket. Then, in the unfortunate event of a fire in the surrounding area, the wafer style ball valve will not be destroyed or burned, and will still be able to maintain its normal working condition even if the temperature is as high as 800°C or more.
2. IS05211 Standard
According to ISO5211 standard design requirements, users can directly add various types of actuators, and there are two groups of PCD for users to choose.
3. Double Butterfly Spring
The two butterfly springs will perform their compensating function in the event of a leakage from the valve stem – releasing the preload to compress the packing again.
